Over on Fiber, Protein, and Iron Every day. Bad?

I take a woman's multivitamin everyday. So any extra iron I get from food automatically puts me over my iron intake. I am completely clueless about harmful or negative effects of too many vitamins. Could this be dangerous long term?

Im also over on fiber and protein quite often. I think too much protein can slow digestion (right?) but the extra fiber is a good thing, no?

Im trying not to over-analyze and drive myself nuts focusing on trivial things, but am wondering how this could effect my weight loss situation, if at all. Thanks for any help!

I am pretty sure you are okay being over on protein and fiber. Did you ever change your settings? The default is really low here. The iron however could be another story - I don't know exact limit but you might want to look at mayoclinic.com or webmd.com for info. If they aren't clear I would check with your physician.

Not at all! Good good good! so long as your carbs are low and your fat is high(ish)...you should get nice and lean with that formula.

Carbs are not the devil..but on a high protein regimen they need to be on the lower side and fat and protein need to be higher. For my body comp I do about 250g of carbs a day with 90g of fat. and 25-30g of fiber.

Actually the more fiber the better because if you are not eating a lot of carbs you are going to be deficient in that area and it can slow your intestinal workings (and make you constipated). If you don't take alot of fiber you will get what they used to call on Muscle Beach the "meat sh*ts".....not fun :D

People have already said that protein and fiber are good to go over (especially with the tiny pre-set amounts they have on this site...) but I'll clear up the iron thing:
Iron is fat-soluble, meaning that if you get too much it'll be stored in fat cells. This can become dangerous over time because the slow buildup can lead to iron poisoning.
THAT being said... women generally need more iron than men. Especially around menstruation. It's easier to get anemic than it is to overdose on iron.
