Why don't we get calorie credit for resistance excercises? My workout usually consist of cardio followed up by medium to heavy resistance training with little breaks in between sets. Believe me it keeps my heart pumpimg the whole time. I know Iam burning calories and I'd like to log them. Anyone know why?

i think it has to d with the resistance versus how much muscle each person individually has. perhaps too many variables that cannot be measured unless you yourself wear a HRM.0

There is a "strength training" option that you can put for your cardiovascular...but it's conversion ratio is a joke. For 45min it is 250cals or something ridiculous....I typically just wear a heart rate monitor...then do an actual conversion then enter it with the "quick calorie" option.0

Fry - Thanks for this info. You just made my day........and the 4 weeks prior to this. I'd rather get barely any then none.
Thanks Again0 -
