I have done the same excercise tape the past three days and have burned a different amount of calories each time according to my HRM. For each time I put in my excercise should I just go by the amount of calories burned according to the HRM? Thanks!!

I put in what the HRM says, since some days I work harder than others, etc.

I would follow the HRM. Because I believe that is going truly off of your personal heart rate. You must be exerting yourself differently all three times to get different results which isn't odd. I have more energy some days too and I know I work harder then. Best wishes!

That's the reason HRM calories aren't as accurate as people think. Your heart rate is affected by alot of different things during exercise like hydration, fatigue, etc. It's still better than guessing, but that's the reason you might see some variations day to day.
  • Thanks everyone!
