Not at all happy about my 2lb gain. It seems to be a pattern with me the past couple of weeks. I am so over it! I thought that last week with starting back to shredding I would start to see results. Maybe its a combo of building that muscle back(HOPEFULLY) and stress(MAINLY). DH is still looking for a fulltime job. I have noticed that every few days, I have to take breaks in between bits because I feel as if I might throw up. Is that normal for stress? I don't feel as if I am stressing but I guess deep down I might be. This might be a little TMI but I think the weight gain could also be the lack of BM, I have not been very regular. I think I might bump up my amount of fiber this week, and see if that will help.

Hi everyone! I will have to save my weigh-in until tomorrow. Wish I could have used Sat AM weigh-in instead, because I was down 2 pounds. Then after the superbowl party - well , I don't want to talk about it (it was BAD) :sad:
I tried Yoga Meltdown tonight! I really liked it! I burned 160 calories, and I'm not sure if that's good or bad. Better than nothing, I'd say.
So besides staying within 200 cal, my other mini-goal is to exercise every day (except Friday which is my rest day). I really slack off on the weekends, Sunday mostly. I have a Valentines Day 15k to do on Saturday, so that will keep me moving! Maybe I'll have to take Sunday off just to recoop from the 15k. We'll see. I'm sure I can squeak out a little 1/2 hour if nothing else.

Monday - Within calories.
Tuesday - I believe I was within calories. Ate mostly fruits and vegetables all day with a little bit of cheese and pepperoni on my lunchtime salad.
Put my gym clothes on first thing in the morning yesterday, missed the 9:30 am class due to work, then planned on Zumba and Body Attack at 5 and 6, if that didn't work then just Zumba at 6. Ended up being in the doctor's office for my husband's first physical ever for 2.5 hours so totally missed out on any exercise. So today, priority is to get to gym at 9 heck or high water.
Going to try and remember to weigh in after the gym, but might have to wait til tomorrow. Ten days late on TOM, up most of the night with massively severe cramps. Didn't go to yearly check up yesterday because I couldn't handle being poked and prodded with these stinking cramps. After my husband's physical, I told him now he has just a very teeney, tiny taste of what us women have to go through (and that doesn't include childbirth).
Okay, enough whining for me.
Cathy - I hope you are feeling better very soon.

I'm completely unmotivated this week. Happy that I was about 150 cals from my goal yesterday. Wednesdays are always a challenge. My husband and I go out for supper. Not sure what I will get yet. Kinda hate getting salads when eating out because they can be packed with hidden calories. But isn't all restaurant food? Should be interesting...but I will do it!0

Hi! I've missed everyone SO much! I've been gone for about 2 months now. I did really well maintaining my weight up to Christmas day. Since then I've gone up to 162.3. Maria...Yes, salads can have lots of hidden calories. I like the restaurants that now have like 500 cal or less options or healthy options...I usually pick from those. Or if I do get a salad, I go without cheese or croutons and get light or FF dressing on the side. My husband and I used to go out a lot, but I was getting so frustrated trying to pick something healthy, that we now rarely go out. Good luck to you!

I started my life style change January 2011 after a 6 month break in my workout routine. Im making a promise to myself that I will continue to work out & eat healthy even when Summer arrives. Last year summer came & I got lazy. I was already at my goal weight so I figured I would enjoy the Summer. Well needless to say I gained 25 lbs over the summer & through the end of the year. Its so not worth to get lazy & lose all that I worked soo hard for. My goal is to stay active all year (actually for the rest of my life) You only have one life to live & I want to enjoy it feeling healthy!0 -

0.5lbs this week i'm so excited cause I started going to the gym today!
Could anyone be of help to me??
I'm looking to start to tone up my legs/thighs so i started with the stationary bike. After 20 mins I swapped to the rowing machine for 10 mins then tried out the treadmilll then went on a different cycling machine.
I really need a proper workout plan/regime I can follow cause otherwise I'll just be swapping from machine to machine every 5 mins :laugh:
So, what's your regime like? Do you stay on one machine for the whole workout or do you do for example, 30 mins on treadmill, 30 mins on elliptical?
