since the middle of january when I first started using mfp, I have lost 16 lbs without really even trying..just staying within my calories yet eating whatever I wanted, and I haven't started working out yet. last week I ate terrible and went over my calories every day by 300-1000 calories!! I was so mad at my self, I was 328 cals over my weekly goal but when I weighed in (Fridays are my wieigh in days) I had lost almost 2 lbs. Granted I do drink tons of water, but I just don't see how that happened. This week I was trying to start over, determined to be under my daily and weekly calories but so far I have not been able to do it! I have continued to log everything I eat, the good and the bad, because if I go one day without logging I'll stop altogether. If you look at my diary you can see that it's mostly a night time thing and I'll eat whatever is in front of me. I think since last week I ate like a cow and still lost, I've got it in my head that it will continue to be like that but I know it won't! I lost weight and got cocky and I just know that it's all gonna bite me in the *kitten* Friday morning when I weigh in! I was doing so good and was so proud of myself Those first couple of weeks but I feel like I've undone all the progress! Binging has always been an issue for me and I finally thought I had it under control but I guess I'm not as strong as I thought! And I'm just so disappointed in myself. I know it's okay to slip up and over do it once in a while, but I have let it continue for well over a week! I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice or motivating words to get me outta this rut and back on the right track. I dont wanna see the scale or my ticker go up. This is he first time i have ever lost weight and I'm not ready to quit! I still have a long way to go. If anyone has ever been in the same situation what did you do? Any response is greatly appreciated, and thanks for taking the time to read all this!

I have the same problem with overdoing it at night. I have found if I don't eat enough fat during the day I am craving something "bad" at night. If I eat some healthy fats during the day I am better off. If I find that I want something at night I try to have a bunch of water or some tea and brush my teeth. That usually works. If it doesn't I just go to bed. Hope this helps a little...0

I went thru the same thing.. Still am.. I dont wanna weigh in on Monday because Im scared I will still be at the SAME weight I have been at for the past 2 weeks. I started doing a work out the end of last week and I have continued to do so.. I am hoping that works. You just have to stick to your guns and I always say "out of sight, out of mind" if its bad food that is getting to you, get rid of it or hide it. I know its hard! My hubby is very thin & eats a lot of CRAP so I make him hide it at the very top of a cabinet where I would need a chair to get to it Stay strong hun! It sounds like you are doing a great job!!! Also what helps me is looking through the success stories on here!!0

thank you I really appreciate the tips and I will definately put them to use it may seem hopeless now but I can salvage what's left of today and tomorrow is a new one! I agree. The success stories help alot, I just wish I had Internet at home so I could read them when I'm feeling tempted lol0
