Hi! I was curious as to whether I am supposed to eat all the calories I am allotted. The last two days, I have ended the day with about 400 calories remaining, yet I have gained 1.2 pounds. I am frustrated and need to know if I am doing my body harm and slowing my process down if I don't eat all of the calories. What do you think?

Don't feel bad. I have been stuck for the past 3 weeks. I eat under and sometimes right at my alloted calories. But can not seem to loose any more weight.0

I definitely think you should try to eat all your calories, depending on your specific calorie intake, if your eating less than 1200 calories for the day, your body may be going into starvation mode which definitely decreases your weight loss, you body may be trying to hold on to that stubborn fat. Good luck and eat up those calories!!!!0

Yes, you should meet your calorie goal every day, it isn't a maximum, it's your target. And you should be eating your exercise calories as well.0

I had the same problem, always had a few left over so would drink a glass of milk or something to use them up. And, after sticking strictly to my diet, gained the weight i had lost back, now have lost it yet again but is is so frustrating!0

Hello. Make sure you are eating well. If you are eating less, your stomach will start storing fat and it will make it hard to shed the pounds. Make sure you are eating healthy. Best of luck!0
