First Day

Hello! I'm new to this site...came across it when searching for diet information. I am a classic yo-yo and fad dieter. I have found great success with many diets but failed to make any lifestyle changes. And of course the weight came back with a vengeance. I spent last summer in jeans and big shirts because I hated the way I looked. I couldn't enjoy my kids, family, or my friends. My lowest point came when I applied for life insurance and they informed me that I was too heavy to qualify for premium rates. My goals at this point are to like how I like, spend more time with my friends and family, get fit, and spend the summer in summer clothes. Today I weigh 205 pounds and would like to be 165 pounds. It's a big goal for me but I think I can reach it. Can't wait to get to know my fellow fitness pals!

    Tarishawn, good luck. This site can definitely be beneficial is you use it. Good luck and if you need a friend to keep you honest, add me. We can all use motivation at times.
