    Hello! I'm so disappointed! Like I said in an earlier post, when I checked my weight on Saturday I was almost down 2 pounds!! Then after some unhealthy choices and a Superbowl party, I am up 1.4. :( I'm very sad! But, I have to be accountable for my actions. I got right back on track this week, and I just need to be prepared for the weekend. Boo!! Happy Wednesday!!

    Good evening Sixers!

    Worked out again this morning! Don't get me wrong I love JM 30DS, but I am feeling like I am not getting enough cardio with it. I want to get rid of the fat, not as much tone the muscles underneath, I feel like its more toning than anything. So tomorrow I am going to do Biggest Loser Cardio Max. Has anyone done this one? Depending on how well I like it, I might alternate BL and JM.

    As for calories:
    T-45 under goal
    W-33 over (Milos tea at Walmart, shouldn't have bought it, it put me over)

    Beky...not sure that I could give much advise about toning, have you asked any one at the gym, they are usually always willing to help out.

    Still staying the same.... I guess that's okay for now. I have been so busy! For the first time in almost 20 yrs I am going to live with someone besides my own children. I am excited and just a bit busy. I am trying to eat right and normal but our deadline is this weekend. So I am working on staying on my calories or at least getting to them. Have a great nite and I will get back and read all the posts this weekend.

    good morning....

    going to try to wrap my head around this weight loss thing once again. i was so sick. i haven't been this sick since i quite smoking years ago. not back to normal completely, but, pretty darn close. i am not doing anything today. not going anywhere. just staying home. maybe work on the living room.

    don't know if i have under or over calories this week. today will be the first day of tracking in a week. still on meds, so don't know what that is doing to the scale readings. still can't breath right, so no exercising. maybe i will dust off the ol' WII today. been wanting to play tennis. no one else wants to. everyone is into their bowling. i am looking for a back drop so i can play by myself.

    have so much desk work to catch up on.

    Mini Goal (Stay within 200 calories of goal):
    Tuesday- about 150 remaining calories
    Wednesday- about 130 remaining calories

    Had a good night last night!! Did my No More Trouble Zones...was super sore after and SO tired today! Glad it's my easy night...however when I have an easy exercise night, it puts me VERY close to my calorie goal, especially since I adjusted it lower recently! SO...need to be careful.

    Plan for today:
    Food--
    B-Oatmeal, light juice, coffee w/sugarfree creamer
    S-Banana, cereal bar
    L-Salad with spritzer dressing, light yogurt, boiled egg
    S-Apple, string cheese
    D-Chicken and rice bake with either carrots or brussel sprouts...haven't decided yet
    S-2 reduced fat graham crackers

    Exercise--
    Hmmm...15 minute something OR shred level 1 if I have time...depends when Kadence goes to bed. Tonight is my tv night...Greys and Private Practice!

    Been doing well the last few days staying within 200 cals. Yesterday was about 185 under and today will be about 150 under. I am bit by bit getting more solid food in now that I am starting to feel better... yay!

    the exercise is just not happening this week. my knees hurt still. I am loathed to do JM 30DS as I'm on level two and its all squat this and lunge that ... and the following morning I can barely walk due to KNEE FAILURE!! so I am trying to do the 10 Minute SOlutions DVDs instead but the two I've gt are really dull and I seriously do not feel even out of breath after doing all 4. and to boot, my knees still hurt.

    Ok ok..... i know what to do... rest up and let them get better. But they'll only hurt when i start up again!!! grrr!!!!

    Awe man...I'm trying to figure out what to do! Our whole group at work is going out for Mexican lunch today...and I would LOVE to go with them! But there's really no "healthy choices" when it comes to Mexican food unless you are making it at home...and today is the day I don't have lots of extra exercise calories! AGH!!! What do I do???? They are leaving in 15 minutes and I'm trying to decide!!!!!

    Maybe the restaurant can make an off the menu item for you such as grilled chicken breast.

    Yeah...I doubt it. But I can ask. I think I'm going to go. I haven't had a day where I've been over in calories for a LONG time...so one day won't kill me. And this is part of life...I can't ALWAYS be so paranoid! I will just be careful what I choose and maybe pass on my afternoon snack and maybe even my evening snack...if I can. I will make this be okay!!

    Well...gotta run off to enjoy some Mexican food!! I'll report when I get back!

    Okay I fixed my goal weight :) The 200 calorie goal is great. I find I need to consume a portion of my workout calories because my body needs the fuel. I've been working out pretty hard just about every day and noticed if I stay at the recommended 1260 calories a day I feel sluggish. I've been eating the work out calories & am still losing a pound a week. So far I've lost 6 pounds & am very happy. only 19 more to go :)

    Well...I was going to order a grilled chicken salad, but they had crappy dressings and only iceberg lettuce so...I got two burritos. Figuring about 600 calories for the two of them...one was beef and the other was chicken, no cheese or sour cream. I'm hoping this estimate is about right....I've searched several nutritional sites. I'm pretty sure tonight will be a night I'm over in calories...just hoping to keep it close to that 200 mark! FINGERS CROSSED!!!!

    Hello! Just a quick check in today before bed. I ate horribly again today, but I got a lot of exercise (for me) in. I ran 0.3 of a mile going to pick up the kids from school. I also got on the Wii Fit for the 2nd day in a row. DH found one on Craigslist, so it's the older Wii Fit instead of Wii Fit Plus. But it seems to work fine right now. DH is doing it too, so we're having fun trying to knock each other out of first place on the different games! :laugh:

    Okay, so yesterday, probably/most definitely over the 200 calories. But in my defense, I burned almost 1300 calories AND after dragging out massive cramps for two weeks, TOM finally came this morning. So I will accept it.

    Went for a follow-up yesterday with my PCP. I'm HEALTHY :) Blood pressure 110/70, weight 1 lb less than 2.5 months ago (and even around TOM), chest and lungs clear. Had a change in my antidepressant that starts next Tuesday so I'll be interested to see how that goes. Hubby was concerned because I have really gotten into running on the treadmill and missing my period for two weeks, he wanted me to ask the doctor. If I have no class to take, I usually run for an hour and have gotten it up to 6.5 to 7 miles in that hour. The doctor said I'm to run no more than 10 miles before I hurt myself. I said 10 MPH, really? He said, then he'd have to get a car to follow me. But he said total of 10 miles within a session. He said I seem like the personality where if I don't put a cap on it, I'm likely to go to the point where its not healthy (boy does he know me). What I find amazing is that a year ago, I was complaining to him that I couldn't even run 2 minutes without being extremely short of breath and feeling like my legs were going to fall off. But now 20 lb lighter and re-conditioned, who knew :) That has definitely been my pat-on-the-back for the week. It's not really the weight loss. It's the fitness level. I keep telling my daughter, I wish I had taken advantage of this in my teens and 20s. It just seems odd that here I am on the farther side of my 30s and am more active, eating healthier, and all around better conditioned than I have been for the 20 some years previous. Youth truly is wasted on the young sometimes.

    Anyway, that's my update for the week. So if I was honest, I think I have stayed within my 200 for 3/5 this week. Not great, but on the two days I went over, I got a lot of exercise in so I think I've evened out through the week.

    Hope you guys are doing well. You are all awesome and I really appreciate you. Couldn't have gotten where I am without this thread and all you absolutely gorgeous ladies :love:

    I'm thinking I might buy a new Jillian Michaels DVD as a prize if I reach my goal for the LOVE your body challenge. I find this strange. That I am considering rewarding myself with further JM torture. Previously, I would have bought a bottle of wine, or had a burger.

    SO aside.... what does anyone reccommend? I'm thinking I might try the Yoga Meltdown? I am new to Yoga (as in pretty lame at it!!) and am after a good yoga DVD anyway. But what else does she do? what else have people got? xx
