Hi, Im Nichole. Im currently 178 lbs. My goal weight is 140 and I want to try to reach my goal by May 21st (wedding date) I've had 2 kids and I have had a terrible soda habit my whole life. I've tried LA Weight loss, low carb, no carb, and I always get frustrated and stop, then gain everything back plus some! Im serious this time and Im so tired of worring about fitting into a bathing suit and clothes I wanna wear. If anyone has any suggestions or help it would be awesome!!!

Hello! I'm also new (I started in July, but took a long break) and I'm getting married May 28th! I'm having trouble getting into a routine to lose weight:/ I'm trying to lose about 10 lbs (that's what I've gained since summer) so I can look fabulous in my dress:) Do you have a dress picked out yet? I'm going this weekend to look with my mother-in-law and next weekend my mom is coming from California so we will also look together:)
My advice (that I should also follow): Just do it (Nike owes me $5 lol)! Use your wedding to motivate you to make the right choices when it comes to what you eat throughout the day and make yourself workout!!! I've started Zumba classes three nights a week and it is so much fun! I have no rythm, but at least I know that I'm getting my heart pumping and I'm losing calories:)0 -
LOG LOG LOG LOG LOG your food intake.
And do it the night before (for the next day) so you know what you will eat and how much it 'costs'.
Exercise.
That's all I am doing. LOL Seems to work.
Good luck! And congrats on the wedding. I love being married.0 -

That's the problem. These are fad diets that no one can stick to. The trick is to make changes that you can stick with forever, because that is how the weight stays off. If you can't eat like the fad diets forever, there is no point in doing them because you will gain the weight back as soon as you quit. Also, CARBS ARE GOOD. You need complex carbs as part of a well-balanced diet. So just watch your calories, don't hyper-restrict yourself, do strength training AND cardio (a lot of people just do cardio- strength training helps boost your metabolism), and try to cut back on soda (slooooowly). Hope that helps0 -
Thanks! I've been curious about that Zumba class, the commercial makes it look great! I actually already have my dress but it can be adjusted with the ties in the back. I really wanna just tone up my flabby arms because its a strapless dress. Good luck and Ill look into the Zumba class.0
