Anyone else feeling it? All this snow and cold weather is definitely affecting my spirit.

    Yeah, i'm feeling a little bummed. I so want winter to be over so I can go outside in the sunshine and enjoy the kiddos!!! Hurry up spring!!!!

    Yes me too! BLAH BLAH BLAH! I have been indoors stuck for 3 days straight because of snow! I am about to try to venture out today! I need warmth and sunshine to motivate me. I swear in my former life I was a bear! :laugh:
  • I love it in the beginning, everything is so quiet and peaceful, but getting a little cabin fever now. I'd like to be walking outside on the trails not stuck inside. Lets keep hope though! Feb is half over (almost lol) - then .....ah spring! :)
  • you sound like you have sad. i have it. (Seasonal Affective Dissorder) my husband bought me a sad light. it makes you feel lots better.

    it is caused by the lack of sunlight at this time of year. the light makes your brain think you have got sunlight

    that is the simple description lol look it up on google, the light works wonders

    I have had the blahs for at least two or three weeks now and lack the motivation to do much of anything. I need sunshine and warm temps STAT!

    I'm definitely feeling it... try taking Vitamin D - it definitely does help! I usually up my Vitamin D supplement a little more this time of year because of not being outside in sunshine! We're almost to spring!

    For sure. I am so ready to start riding my motorcycle to work. No better way to start my day than with my knees in the breeze. :)

    I think you still need the sun for the supplements to take full effect though. I took one yesterday. I should sit by my window which has some sun...nap...and then wake up and feel motivated!

    Add me to the list for sure. In fact, back in December I was contemplating how to tell my husband that I was pretty sure I was suffering from depression. The weather sucks, and being stuck in the house all the time with two little kids who between the two of them someone is always sick. UGH. And this blizzard we had did not help things. But, what did help me was Jillian Michaels. Honestly. I am on day 26 of the 30 day shred and that daily dose of exercise is everything I needed to get me going. I cant imagine missing a day. I am so productive now, and feeling more like myself. I also went tanning a few times (I know I know terrible) but the warmth and the lights, just gives me a boost in spirit. I am pretty sure its seasonal....god I can't WAIT for spring!!
