I just got a Kinect and was wondering if the exercise games were worth the money and do they require lots of extra's like the wii exercise games?

I just got mine a month ago and bought zumba and your shape fitness evolved and that is all you need! Personally didn't like the zumba. I can't dance I found out! I am liking the fitness one but have only had that one a week so will let ya know later on. Good luck with it. Have fun.0

Hi
The kinect is really good for the exercises your shape is
really good definately worth the money I paid for it!!
you dont need any extra's and some of the workouts
are definately hard work!!
Hope this helps!!! good luck with your journey!!0 -
I love your shape fitness evolved, and Dance central...0

I have the biggest loser, and if you can overlook the "bugs" then you will enjoy it. I do it every other day, and it gives me a great workout. You don't need any extra equipment, but it does give you the option to put in equipment you have and then it will generate a routine using those. I have the stability ball which I incorporated into my routines.
one thing I hate.....is the fact that you are working out to elevator music.....you would think they would of put something better. All in all, it's great. I can't wait for the next one to come out (hoping that all the kinks will be worked out).0 -
I do the Biggest Loser on the Kinect. LOVE IT... there are recipes, you can chose how many days and how long you want to workout. There is so much you can do with it.0

Zumba. Believe me; it's on as hard as everyone says it is. And Biggest Loser. Also Dance Central0

I love the Biggest Loser and Dance Central.. if you have kids we have the Sports one as well and I burn a ton playing with my son. There's track and field, volleyball, soccer, etc. and nothing better than competition with the kids!0

i also just recently got Kinect for christmas.
I have adventures, your shape, sports, and dance central
every single one will work up a sweat
I think its important to have variety or you will get bored
and i also think its very important to give each one a chance
at first i thought dance central was going to be difficult but i am competitive a little so kept at it
after 2 weeks of trying some songs 3 and 4 times each i noticed my scores getting better which meant i was improving
but most importantly, i noticed i was no longer trying it for 15-20 mins... i was actually dancing for 90mins and laughing my butt off
i'm in my 30's so to hear songs like push it bust a move and rump shaker cracked me up! lol
i havent' really had to buy anything to go along with my kinect except tighter clothes :):) since doing kinect i have lost almost 10lbs from having fun.
I really hope you enjoy your kinect as much as i love mine!0 -
these were great comments thank you all, I think I am sold on dance central as my next purchase due to all the positive comments.0

Dance Central is awesome I use the calories burned that are shown in the workout mode, but I think it's low. Kinect Sports is also great. It has alot of different games on it. The boxing left me sore after. I just got Zumba in yesterday, but I haven't tried it yet.0
