I am no expert and by no means want to offer bad advise but from what I am told by other members on here is that muscle weights more than fat so maybe that is the reasoning behind your weight gain?
Dont get disheartened by the scales, just jump back on track and look at the positives so far ie, feeling better etc0 -
It's annoying but keep at it, you are doing the right thing. you have only gained weight because of muscle weight and possible some water retention but your body is so much more healthy now and although you haven't lost any weight, you've lost loads of fat. also your body is just getting used to the change, you will loose quickly again soon enough once your body has adjusted :):)
my body did that too, I thought I would never loose weight again but I did.
well done for all your good work0 -
The same thing has happened to me!!!!
I lost 3lbs in my 1st week and was really motivated so in the following week exercised more to try to boost my weight loss, but I too gained a pound. Everyone is telling me this is normal and I do feel better. Lets hope everyone is right and we have some weight loss in the following weeks to come.0 -
I started last June and have lost 67 lbs.. The weeks of not losing anything or even gaining a couple of pounds are definitely the biggest challenge I have to staying motivated. I've found that when I have bad results on the scale for a week or two, it's usually followed by a really good week so they don't get to me as much now. Just stay consistent and the results will follow soon enough.0

It could just be water retention from the sodium in your Chinese food. Give it a couple of days, drink lots of water and then try stepping on the scales.0

Just out of curiosity...by eating Chinese were you over on your sodium? Chinese food is high in sodium and msg and sodium makes you retain water so that could explain a weight gain the next day.0

OOOOO i never thought about that right water time !!!!0
