Ok I'm stuck!!! I was doing good through the fall and until xmas. Then I was like ok I just want to hold over the holidays, well that didn't happen. My parents were here for 2 weeks and I only see them a couple of times a year, so didn't want to fuss about food and stuff. Dad kept buying treats and goodies, salami and cheeses, fresh baked bread, cinnabons, well you get the idea. I still managed to get a few workouts in, and we did a lot of walking at malls and with the dog. I gained 5 lbs, but I was pretty much expecting that.
I figured not much going on in January so I'd workout more and burn off those 5 and then get back on the wagon. Well it didn't happen. I've been bouncing around those 5 lbs all month. I really started kicking it into gear the past 3 weeks, eating good, got in some good workouts, and NOTHING. Before I'd at least see a drop of a few fractions of a lb. It wasn't going up....
I've lost a total of 50 lbs in the past year and a bit. But I've really stalled out now. I have a wedding to go to in July and wanted to loose at least 20 lbs by then, but at this rate it won't happen.
Don't worry I'm not giving up....but just needed to vent. The only differnece is I've started to use some Whey Gourmet for snacks or cravings, or after a workout. So perhaps I just need to have some patients and will see a change in another week or so.
I'd lost 15 lbs from Aug -Dec and 6" off my waist, but I want so much more now that I've seen the results.

First of all WELL DONE YOU FOR LOSING 50lbs!!! That is some achievement. My weight has fluctuated since my last child nearly 8 years ago. Thanks to this app and joining the gym I'm 14lbs off my goal weight. I've lost 42lbs so far. When you stress about things your body can retain the weight. Go out and have some fun. Run about with friends, kids etc... Use this app but DON'T STRESS!!! You are more or less there now. Life happens and there will be times when you will put on a few pounds. Accept this and bear in mind that you took it off once... you can do it again. Good luck!0

I totally hear you, I've actually been trying to get on board with my weight loss plan since right before Christmas and didn't see any weight lost until last week. This week I'm already giving into cravings. I'm personally going to try to drink a ton a TON of water and watch my calories a lot more closely than I have been lately. I keep beating myself up about it, but I hope you're not doing that. We just need to hold ourselves accountable for what we're putting into our bodies.
Do your best to try to redirect your focus! We're all here for you!0 -
Thanks everyone. I've tried really hard not to be discouraged. I got in several good workouts, and have been eating good. I lost 1 lb on Sat, and 2 lbs more today. So down 3 lbs this week. I still have 2 more to get back to where I was xmas morning. Then I can start going, i swear once I loose the next 3 lbs and get under the next number I'll feel soooo much better, I've been stuck so long, it's time to break through.
