one month here and looking for friends at mfp

hi there

i've been following this for a month now and so far i have lost 14 pounds!! im so happy but have a fair bit to go yet!
I use the gym but i'm finding it difficult as I do rotating shift work - so i would like friends similar friends for the journey.
please add me if you have to lose similar amount, and let me know of any tips!!

  • I'm right there with you. I've been on since Jan. 2nd and have lost 13 lbs. I do have to say that for me, I tend to lose more quickly when I'm not working out, so don't get discouraged if the ratio of muscle gained & pounds lost gets frustrating. Stick with it. I need encouragement, too :) I need to lose 15 more! I'm 5'11 and weigh 180 and would like to get to 165 to be healthy. Don't know if any of this helps...

  • You are doing fantastic - keep going. I think there are lots of other people that struggle with shift work on here - u should hook up with some of them!!
