I don't really have any goals set on my weight loss. Like some people have decided to lose X amount of weight by a certain date. I'm wondering if i should set some kind of goal like this. Does anyone have goals and feel like they reach them if there is a time limit? Anybody without goals that is just as sucessful?

You need to make sure they are achievable goals...
When I started trying to loose weight, I was putting too much pressure on myself, I resulted in giving up and putting any weightloss back on.
I decided a few weeks ago, I wanted to be about 10 kilos iighter by May 13 (i was 94kgs), as I am going to singapore. I decided my first step would be getting under 90kgs, which I acheived by Sat morn... my next goal is to get under 85kgs, which I would like to do by my birthday on 16th March. I have 12 weeks to go till my holiday, and if I loose just under a kilo a week, I will be under what I was aiming for,
My ultimate goal is to get within 70-75kg range... Which I have set for myself by the end of the year... just going to take that month by month when I get back.
MFP has been great for keeping motivated and on track! I love it! I have tried a few diets - Bodytrim and Lite N Easy to name a few, and they just havent worked.... but I do see monitoring my food intake and regular exercise as working!0
