Dropped pounds while on vacation?

I recently got back from a 2.5 week vacation, and was totally shocked to discover that I actually dropped 2 pounds in that time. I will admit that it is not the 4-5 lbs that I would have probably lost if i was completely following the plan. But considering that I didn't "offically" log a single thing, and just kept a mental tally of estimated calories and exersize I couldn't be more happy.
Plus, when you consider that I have typically ADDED 2-3 lbs while on vacation it gets that much sweeter.

Great job!! I love vacations, but they ALWAYS wreak havoc on my eating and exercise habits. Very impressive that you were able to keep a loose tally without officially logging!!0

Sometimes eating a solid meal after dieting can actually crank your metabolism. It's always a nice surprise for me when I get steak and potatoes and end up dropping weight.0

WHen, I went on my honeymoon, I lost 4lbs. We were on a norwegian cruise ship for a week. If you've ever been on a cruise before then you know there is A LOT of eating involved. I did eat a lot, but I was constantly walking. It was lots of fun.0
