Help me make a list...

A grocery list... I need to go to the grocery store tomorrow but I am looking for some healthy ideas... maybe I will get some ideas that I haven't tried... change things up a bit... so what do you usually get when you go to the grocery store?

Buy some mountain bread ( in the UK i think you guys call it pita bread) and make mini pizza for dinner. so put some cherry tomatoaes chopped up,onion, spinish, haloumi (chicken if you eat meat or bacon) and use some tomatoa paste for the base and low fat cheese on top. its yummy easy and only takes about 10 mins to make. and be cooked.

fresh spinach, fresh veggies as much as possible, Lean Cuisine Meals, Sara Lee Light and Healthy bread, tuna, hummus or garbanzo beans, pita chips, animal crackers (chocolate are best!), oatmeal, tilapia, chicken, apples, craisins to go on cereal. Melba toast. Hope that helps. Oh and eggs. We keep a few boiled ones on hand for salads and snacking.

I love to buy the whole wheat pita bread along with lowfat shredded cheese and pizza sauce with the hormel turkey pepperonis and make myself pita pizzas for lunch. I guess you could also cut up fresh veggies and make a veggie pizza but I love pepperoni.

    My staples are:

    Wheat wraps (tortilla or otherwise)
    Asparagus
    Apples
    Berries (whatever is on sale!)
    Low fat shredded cheese
    Turkey
Filling cereal (some fiber type stuff, to keep me going)
    Green Peppers

I love making sandwich wraps with the turkey and whatever veggies I have on hand, and scrambled egg whites w/ veggies is my favorite weekend breakfast!

My game is to get as many fresh, unprocessed foods as possible. If it comes in a box, can, jar or a bag it has to have ingredients I recognize and can pronounce. My staples:
    Greek Yogurt
Rice Cakes (I like Rice Thins by Real Foods)
    Almond Butter
    All manner of veggies
Low-fat cheese (string cheese or Laughing Cow wedges are my favorite)
Small pieces of dark chocolate for those hard-to-ignore sweet cravings

Since I have started here my weekly staples are now:

Small wholemeal loaf (slices are aprox 55 cals each)
    Mini wholemeal pitta breads
    Cucumber
    Cherry tomatoes
Pack of fresh peppers (yellow, red and orange)
    Rocket leaves
    Red Onions
    White Onions
    Corgettes
    Baby New potatoes
    Broccoli
    Lemon's
    Fresh Basil

    Humous
    Chicken breast
Small packet (250g) of lean mince meat
    Turkey breast

    Baked Beans

Plus with my plan I still buy ready made things like potato croquettes (half a pack is less cal's than most other potato types) and frozen oven chips (again surprisingly low in cals) so I can still have a few cheat nights. Chicken, oven chips and beans for kess than 400 cals - excellent!

From the above I can knock up healthy stir-fries or make a big side salad to go alongside my evening meal. I make sure I have a big portion of veg or salad very single evening.

I still make things like Spaghetti Bolognese / Chilli and rice / Chicken curry BUT I make sure my portions are controlled...
