Just drink it! No secret. You just have to make sure you do it. And water should not make you feel bloated. You probably feel bloated because your body is trying to hold onto the little amount you are giving it by retaining it. Start drinking at leat 60 oz a day for a week and watch how not bloated you feel! :bigsmile:0

you are having about 4- 8 oz glasses a day which is great but as you said you should drink more. I just bought large refillable water bottles and make sure to drink before I eat. if i feel hungry i drink a glass of water. It adds up fast. Since you feel full and bloated with more water perhaps you should try varying the temperature of water you drink. I can't drink cold water, it makes my stomach cramp up. I drink room temp water and have a glass of coffee in the morning and tea in the evening. I count those too0

My mother in law drinks a whole 2 cups on her drive to work to make sure she gets that in right in the day. I always have water beside me and sip it all day long. It is hard. I've also heard drinking a whole glass before starting dinner helps too. Good luck!0

I agree with Ashlee above. Also, if you have a hard time with plain water, you can add some lemon or lime juice in it to help with the taste. I have to drink mine VERY cold with lemon in it or I can't do it. Aim for at least 8-8oz glasses a day, but it has been suggested to me by my nutritionist to aim for my weight-100 in ounces of water a day. It's a lot, but it makes a huge difference!0

i have a LOT easier time drinking water now by spreading it out in smaller chunks (8-12oz at a time, instead of 16+). I've gone from drinking almost no water (1-2 glasses a day) to 5-8. Still not all the way there, but getting close. Good luck!0

I do not like to drink water but have found that when I workout I drink a lot. I don't know what your workouts are like but it is pretty effortless for me to drink water when I exercise. Good luck :-)0

I dont drink anything but water, boring yes i know but i really just hate soda (pop) so i literally sip on water all day long. When u remember to drink thats when u chug bc you remember you should be. But if ur sipping on it all day you get ur water intake but not all at once so you feel all full and uncomfortble. Also if ur sick of just water, i bought some of those crystal light pure fitness powder things to add to my waterbottle theyre pretty tasty and have elctrolytes to help hydrate you even more.0

I drink 2 galans of water a day, easily. I keep a Nalgene bottle (room temp- becaseu it is easier to chug) by my side at all times. At work I make sure that it is gone (4 cups) by noon. I refill it and make sure it is gone by 5 PM. I do the same thing at home, always have awaterbottle filled and ready to drink. I don't consume soda either. But not willing to give up my coffee. Hope this helps you0

My issue with water is that it makes me feel hungry. If I drink on an empty stomach it makes my stomach gurgle and if I'm moving around too much it actually sloshes! It gives me a hollow, empty feeling and the urge to eat something to soak it up!
I can't at all understand those people who say it helps to fill them up and stop them snacking :frown:0 -
Some really good ideas.. I think maybe If I make it habit to carry the bottle with me all the time then Ill remember to drink all day... I agree working out makes me drink more.... great advice guys thank you! I have found that drinking it really cold is the only way I can drink more... ..Thanks again0

i normally drink 2 bottles of water when im at the gym, and just spread out the rest over the course of the day. I also dont drink soda or what ever you prefer to call it...lol i think for the last week i have been getting about 10 glasses a day in. I also drink water with lunch, dinner etc. and I drink mine at room temp. I hope this helps !
