I am thinking of adding weights to my at home work outs when I can't get to the gym but didn't want to go and spend money that I don't have.
Any ideas?

i had a friend who made weights with bottles of water and duck tape.
We laughed at him.0 -
Fill a clean sock with pebbles or dry beans.
Sew or glue the open end closed.
Then sew the ends together (or attach with Velcro) and use as a wrist/ankle weight.
Can goods can also be a supplement.0 -
You can do tremendous things with just your body weight. Google "body weight workout" and you'll find tons of things you can do. I've had clients who worked their entire transformations through body weight workouts ... without a gym or weights at all and the results are stunning. Check it out and go for it!0

check the yard sales in your area. I picked up hand weights from someone who didn't want theirs anymore for like a dollar.0

When I injured my knee last year, my doctor suggested putting a 5lb bag of sugar in a bag or purse and doing leg lifts to re-strengthen the knee.0
