How would you record this in your exercise journal??

I have recently discovered the recumbent cross trainer. Basically, it is like a recumbent bike with the paddles and arm poles. One would think it's not a good workout, but let me say this: IT IS! Just like an elliptical you can adjust the resistance and how fast you go is up to you. The main difference is that for me it is a bit easier on my knees because of the upright seated position.
Anyway, I am wondering how I would log that. I see there is no recumbent bike option, but there is a stationary bike option. BUT with the lower AND upper body movement it is more of a workout than the stationary bike alone. Also, the machines at the gym I go to do not provide information on speed, but they do show SPM - steps per minute. Then there's the resistance factor.....
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Maybe MFP should add the recumbent bike as a workout option.?

If it was me, I would find a site that allows you to add your height, weight, gender and age, and calculate a number somewhere between an elliptical and rowing machine and use that. Yes I know it won't be 100% accurate, but at least it's a good gauge.0
