MFP! I was doing SO well last week but the past 4-5 days I completely went overboard with my food intake. As a result, I admittedly avoided logging into MFP so I wouldn't have to log my terrible nutrition into my diary. :(

I need a person to yell at me when I don't log in. Any takers?

I will remind you! The important thing to remember is that you will have those days when you slip and choose not to record what you ate. The important thing is to record your food and exercise no matter what you have eaten or done. The best part of MFP is that is reminds you of what you have eaten and you can make changes in your diet to correct those mistakes. One thing to remember is to give yourself that one day to eat what you want, within moderation, and not to starve yourself of the foods out there. Keep track of your food, exercise, and continue reaching out for support. I always need the reminder that I am doing good.
    Have a wonderful day!

You can add me as a friend-I am also looking for the friends to keep me on track-I have too many temptations in my cupboard from the rest of my family and get off track easily-I can't stand myself for caving in those times!
  • Feel free to add me...I'm usually on here every day so I can help keep you accountable

Feel free to add me as a friend too! It's super helpful for me (a former on/off program person) to be surrounded daily with people who are like-minded and going after results!

Cruise the success stories often - I know I do, and I can't wait to post in there!

It's tough to go at it alone, but with help, friendship and company along the way, you'll get there!

No, no, no . . . ALWAYS log on bad days!!!! I learned much more about myself from reviewing those days than anything. Until you see those choices in black and white you can't begin to fix those personal demons that have hampered your motivation.

I worked with MFP for almost 6 months before I lost any weight. Seeing those daily excesses was what taught me to make different choices and helped me learn how to shop, prepare food, eat, everything!

Add me too! I ready to change myself and we all have those bad days...we just need to be honest with ourselves and continue to log those days and do our best to make up for it the following day!
  • Feel free to add me to your friends list too!

In my opinion having as many friends as possible keeps me in check and accountable.....BUT this thing only works if you log EVERYTHING, even the days when you know you've slipped up!
Nobody is here to judge....if you've gone a little bit astray, what you need is helpful advice, support and motivation and if you surround yourself with people who have similar struggles that's what you'll get.

I find that if I really have a craving for something, a chocolate bar, some ice cream etc...I work it into my calorie allowance so that I still stay within my goals and also don't feel that i'm being deprived. Having said that I believe that moderation is key and so theses things should be considered a treat and shouldn't make up the bulk of your calorie intake.

I find that regularly looking at other peoples food diaries for inspiration and ideas, and reading the 'Success Stories' with 'before and after' photos keeps me motivated and focused.

    Good luck..YOU CAN DO It!!!
