I need high calorie nutritious food ideas

I'm still 694 calories away from netting 1200 calories and I'm just not hungry. It's 7:05 at night and I normally don't eat past 8. Any ideas on what I can fill up on?

    Peanut Butter, Milk, Orange Juice, Fruits, Pasta, Nuts, yogurt, cheese.

    What about some nuts or peanut butter? Extra protein, good fats and high calorie depending on the serving size.
  • Avacodo sliced on a piece of whole wheat topped with a slice of provolone lol Thats my fave!
  • Find some healthy fats like cheese or coconut oil. Anything that's pretty much unprocessed that's not a veggie or fruit will be good. :-)

    Get a bag of almonds and walnuts. Both raw no flavorings or salt. Around 200 calories, and a piece of fruit close to 300. eggs are 70 calories a piece, Lean red meat,

    I'm sure you know, but try to spread it out during the day - have a few snacks so you don't have to shovel food in at the last minute. As far a an evening snack that I like to go to - try a hard boiled egg or cottage cheese and a vegetable juice, great balance of protien, carbs and fat for your body to "munch" on as you sleep. Once your body absorbs that, it goes for the excess calories :tongue:

    Is this pretty common? or just a fluke night? if its pretty common I would start mapping out your meals at the begining of the day so you know if you will need to add more calories in early.

    Its not good to eat lots of food at night, so even tho you aren't hungry it would be better lifestyle wise for you to eat your majority of calories in the morning rather than stuffing yourself right before 8 at night.


    As for what to eat, I would eat carbohydrates get some whole wheat pasta with a good sauce. throw in some lean meat and have a higher calorie drink like juice.

    Have a glass of chocolate milk, or some nut butter....Plus might wanna plan you meals so your cals are evenly spaced out.
