For 3 days now, I haven't had frozen diet dinners for lunch at work.

WOOT! This is helping a LOT, I can tell.

I am making my lunch at night (you can check out my diary if you like) and I realize it's not so hard to make a quick and yummy lunch without all the processed crap.

YAY!

    Excellent!!
  • I've had to cut them out too - just a day or two now. I hold too way too much fluid from all the sodium and preservatives. My legs actually show it! My weight loss is not what it needs it to be... so therefore, no Lean Cuisines or any frozen dinners. I took a sweet potato to work today and it was just delicious.... So, I say GOOD FOR YOU GIRL!! Keep it up. Your body will love you for it!

That's what I need to do. I've been eating a lot of frozen dinners for lunch because I don't have a lot of time to really make anything while chasing my little one around and it's already portion controlled so I can't over eat, but I need to find some stuff other stuff to start making. That's a good idea to make it the night before. That would really help me out I think. What kinds of things are you making, if you don't mind me asking? I need some inspiration.

Great job! I started making a simple turkey sandwich for lunch and I swear not a week goes by that someone doesn't look and say "that's a nice looking sandwich"! lol

The container store and amazon sell fabulous lunch containers. I think I remember seeing a container for large salads that also had a dressing dispenser! Making your own food is always the healthiest way to eat. Good for you!
