i had a horrible day yesterday food wise and its taking everything ive got not to get up and do my Shred. but my knee cant handle it.
should i do the shred anyways? but not do lunges and squats since bending if when i feel the pain? should i put the shred away completely until i see the dr on friday, and just do the wii fit? or just take the week off until i see what the dr says?
walking doesnt bother me. its like if i bend my knee a lot (sitting "criss cross apple sauce" for example, lunges bother it, and obviously squats.) but i dont know if working out (minus anything that would bother the knee) would irritate it worse?

I would take the week off till you see the dr.. and wait for what they have to see. I wouldn't put it away just yet...0

why don't you sit in a chair & do punch combos. Jabs, uppercuts, crosses, etc. it's great for getting your heart rate up & you're not using your legs at all so you're avoiding any further injuries. You could even sit to do overhead presses, bicep curls, etc.
I wouldn't push yourself to the limit with the injury. The last thing you want is to be out of commission longer, or in more pain and causing more damage.0 -
personally my thought would be if walking doesnt bother it then just do that till you see your doc, why take a chance on injuring yourself even more, your health is #10

Do what doesn't hurt, you don't want to mess with an injury! I hurt my knee training for my first 1/2 marathon and if I didn't look after it I would have done damage that may not have been able to be repaired. Just walk until you see your dr. Good Luck!0

Anything that is bothering your knee should be avoided until you see the Dr. and find out what is going on. You could still exercise if you want but do things that are low impact...swimmming for example would be perfect0

do some walking until you see your doctor and take some calcium vitamins0

just do some no knee straining exercises, you will be made at yourself if you take the week off. Plus you wont get those fab endorphins, which could help a little with the pain0

I had to stop 30 DS on day 6 because my knees couldn't handle it. It's okay when this happens, it doesn't mean you have to giv eup completely. Now that it's healed i still do shred twice a week.0
