Ran 3.5 miles this morning, I was really tired getting up but I'm really happy I did. Also did a little lower body weights.

Another 5K for me this morning, 25 more laps around that track. But, today I only walked one of those laps instead of 2! Whoo Hoo! I'm still so slow, but I'm still trucking away. Who would have thought 6 months ago that I'd be running 3 miles.... :noway: :noway: :noway:
Worst part of my morning was when the men's basketball team from the college came in for conditioning. I felt like such a fat dork.... :frown: But I just kept my eyes straight ahead and kept running. They may be young and skinny, but I bet they can't run 3 miles! Well maybe they can, but it made me feel better to think it. :ohwell:
Tomorrow morning is elliptical and some weights.. Then I don't think I'll get anything accomplished over the weekend. I will pretty much be on my feet from 8:00am to 6:00pm at the park festival on Sat. & Sun. Maybe I should wear my HRM and see how many calories I burn....
I signed up for a spinning class on Monday morning. Wish me luck, never done it before!

G'morning Runners! No run for me today. It was so nice y'day afternoon that I took my bike for a nice 15 mile spin. And did P90X Back & Biceps w/ my dh last night... so I was tired last night!!
I think I'll just do some yoga & abs today and call it a day! I have a 10K planned for Sat, but they're calling for 60% chance of rain. I'll run as long as there is no lightning!

Morning runners:
no run for me today. Did P90 kenpo x with weighted gloves. Good news is that my hip is still holding up.
Jess: Good luck with your 10k on Sat. Rain isn't too bad, but I wouldn't run in lightening either! Sunday is the Montreal Marathon here and rain is forecast. two buddies of mine are running, they are hoping that it isn't raining at the start, could make for pretty heavy shoes at some point!

I have 5K race this Sat and it is supposed to rain here too. Although we probably won't have lightening because it will be too cool.

I had a 7 mile tempo run for breakfast this morning. We ran an easy paced mile to warm up. Then we ran 5 miles at a hard pace. Then, we ran an easy paced mile to cool down.

Ran 5 miles(pushing my 3 year old in her jogging stroller). Trying to do 30 or over each week. We will see for this week. I am at 20 so 10 more to go!!:)

Speedwork for me today. Ugh. I'm not a big fan of the speedwork days, that's for sure. Ran 1.5 mile warm up, 6 x 800 with 400 jogs in between, and a mile cool down. Seven miles all together. I was supposed to run the 800's in 3:45. I'm proud to report that I was able to do it 4 out of the 6 times. Holy crap are my legs noodly.

Since it is getting darker earlier, I did most of my running on a treadmill this week. I'd much rather be outside, but whatcha gonna do, right?

I ended up getting in 1,000 yd swim while my girls were at swimming lessons. Bonus workout for me! YEAH! :happy:
