I'm excited about myfitnesspal - I found it thanks to a friend who religiously uses it to post her progress on Fb. Like many of you, I have successfully lost weight before using WW and the points tracker. My sister-in-law has gone thru WW change in their points system and has not loved her results with the new plan. SO, through a combination of both of these ladies, I am hoping that mfp will be just what I need.
I don't have a lot of weight to lose but I do come from a family that struggles with weight and I know that if I don't get off the extra that I have now, it will only get harder. I have never been a regular exerciser so I'm hoping this will be a tool to help me stay motivated to build my exercise program.
I also have two small boys, am married to a coach who is gone a lot, and live in the middle-of-nowhere, where gyms and support groups are few and far between. I have an elliptical, a track across the street, and a lack of tempting fast food places to chose from.
Anyone interested in helping keep me motivated and accountable is greatly welcome and appreciated - I promise to return the favor!
Happy LOSING!
