You can do it!! Dont let it get you down, and don't start over tomarrow. Get it back on track right now. My biggest downfall is if I slip durring the day I continue to do so throughout the day. Get it back right now girl! You can do it!0

Turn up the radio and burn some calories, you can do it,plus you'll feel great afterwards0

Sometimes if you go over by just a little, it will trick your body and you will lose weight anyways!! I went over by like 600 calories one day and I lost a full pound!! Just don't beat yourself up about it, and move on!!0

It really helps me to meal plan ahead of time so that those surprises don't happen as often. Of course, some days those cookies are too tempting and I have to log them!0

Seems to be the theme for the day and actually for about a month for me:( I've been stress eating I guess and I have got to STOP! Maybe it's the full moon:)0

It happens. It's all about how you go on from this point.
Go for a walk. Do some dancing. Cardio! Burn those extra calories and undo it so it does not get you down!0 -
Take a walk or do some kind of exercise at home. That will get you on track faster. Good luck!0

500 calories over what? Your maintenance level of calorie levels or deficit level.
If it's 500 above your maintenance it's negligible as you would need at least 6 more days like that to gain back 1lb of fat. If it's 500 above your deficit level then it's even less of a worry. Keep in mind the 80% / 20% rule. If your diet is tight 80% of the time then other 20% isn't an issue unless you choose to make it so (within reason of course!)0 -
Just dance it off! Turn up the music, and let it out!!0

You could always burn off those 500 calories if you're not done for the day. If you are about to call it a night, then no biggie. Consider it a high-calorie day and go back to your usual low - moderate calorie count afterwards. I fluctuate my intake on a daily basis. Just don't consistently go over your calorie goal.0

Oh, guys! I wish I could do some cardio now! I'm stuck at work till 11pm! ((((((((0

Ooh.. late shifter. Well, as much as it pains me to suggest working out when you get home...work out when you get home. Lol. I do late night workouts. That's the only time I feel like doing cardio, actually. Then again, depending on your job, you may feel exhausted, so just chalk it up to an overage and then just start over tomorrow. It won't hurt you.0
