 I'm Geni and I'm a new widow, I lost my husband of 28 yrs. to Cancer in Jan. 2010, (He didn't even know he had it till 4 days before he died!!--it was that fast--I'll have to tell ya'll what his family did to me after he died--I wasn't allowed to see him or go to the funeral or anything!!) and if that's not enough to kill ya--
2 months later I lost my 93 yr. old Grandpa I was taking care of. He died in March of 2010.
I had an emergency surgery a couple of months before my husband died, and the meds they put me on made me balloon up!!
I have NEVER in all my breathing life weighed over 98 pounds dripping wet!! (If I had known those meds were going to do that--I would NOT have taken them!!)

So I hope to meet some friends on here that we can help each other accomplish our goals!!

Someone PLEASE tell me what foods I can eat to speed up my metabolism!!
I need all the help I can get!!
Love & Light
Geni (ghall26)

  • Hi my name is heather and i am so so sorry to hear about hard hard journey. I have been heavy since i was eight yrs old and ill be 31 in march. I have lost weight in the past but with the help of diet pills. I have even gone to classes for surgery. My highest weight was 326lbs. I have back surgery because of being in so much pain. Before i started my journey i was at 314. I have been on here for a month now and as far as i know i have lost at least 10lbs but i go to the doctor on the 18 to really find out. This site is wonderful. Fiber is very important so i eat kashi cereal in the moment and yogurt. Fish is excellent. I play on my wii and im doing great and on my own without help from pills. The support on here is trumendous. You can add me if u like and we can take the journey together.
