Hey everyone,
My name is Lo and I am 21 years old. I absolutely love this program and during the last 3 days I have felt so much better about myself and the work I am putting in. I have put on more weight than I would have like in the last year due to numerous surgeries on my shoulder (#3 is happening at some point sadly). I am extremely athletic and all through my life I swam, played softball, danced, played soccer, and most importantly volleyball. I am 5'11 and left handed and was headed for playing volleyball in college. Then my junior year of high school i dislocated my shoulder and tore my labrum (what keeps your shoulder in the socket) and could no longer play at my full potential.
I was saddened and depressed and even 2 surgeries later I still have those feelings. I've gained at least 30 lbs and cannot wait to get rid of it! Now I want to feel like I did then and get back to my toned figure and play volleyball again even if it isn't the way I use to. I just want to feel confident like I use to and do it in a healthy way. I'm super talkative and would love to talk to some of you and we all know encouragement goes a long way!!! Good LUck!

Hey Lo,
30lbs isnt that bad and very attainable. Your current state of mind probably doens help and I am sure youre gutted with not being able to play sport again. If you set yourself achievable goals on this it does work. I lost about 37lbs over about a 4 month period and I wasnt that fat. I am 6'2" and now weigh about 193lbs. Good luck with it though and hope the next surgery works out for you. Fell free to add me as a friend.0
