I noticed I could use cleaning as exercise....my question is what do I classify it as? What is the difference between light cleaning and heavy cleaning? Cleaning is cleaning to me.

I think of Heavy Cleaning as the stuff that makes your body do the work......like mopping, vacuuming, sweeping. Light Cleaning seems more like laundry, putting stuff away, light dusting.

To me, light cleaning is everyday stuff like doing the dishes, sweeping, dusting, taking out the garbage, etc. Heavy cleaning is more like moving all your furniture to vacuum behind it or lifting lots of heavy boxes or something. Unless I need a second pair of hands to help me, I think I would just log it as light cleaning just to be under rather than over-logging my exercise.

I see. Much of my cleaning is light cleaning from the sounds of it.

My honest opinion is that I don't count it unless it is above and beyond normal household cleaning (like cleaning out a garage or attic I would count). We burn a certain number of calories each day just by doing normal every day stuff which includes cleaning.
