Topic is Locked....???

What does it mean when it says a topic is locked? I was trying to add my info to the "Lose a Dozen by Easter" thread and it won't let me!??

Am I doing something wrong?

    no, its possible someone got in a fight, or something went wrong or off subject so they lock it so no one else can comment.

    When Mike (the creator) locks a topic, it is forever finished.

    I noticed there were 500 posts...I wasn't sure if that was why--hit a limit and no more can be added?

    Will have to see if someone starts another thread!

    Threads automatically get locked and a new thread started at 500. There's a link at the end of the locked thread for the new one. Here's yours:
