Good Quality Scale - recommendations?

Our scale is old and is all over the map. doesn't reset properly and time for a new one.

Any recommendations - I'd rather spend a bit more $ for quality.

Omron makes scales that tell you Body fat % by bioelectrical impedance and also regular scale weight which is what I plan to get at some point. It can record for multiple people as well. Look at their Body Composition Monitor.

I highly highly highly recommend this one:

It only gives you your weight (none of the fancy stuff) but it is very nice looking, has an extra wide platform, bright and large display and is ranked 5 stars on Amazon. I think it's the highest ranked bathroom scale that I could find on Amazon. From what I read in reviews the customer service is great to if you have a problem.

I just got mine two weeks ago and couldn't be happier. And no, I don't work for them, haha. It's one of the few products I've bought recently that I would buy over and over and over again if I had to.

How does it calculate body fat? is it accurate? do you program in your weight? i am intrigued..

I tried to find out how the Weight watchers scale calculates BF% but have been unable to find how they do it. The Omron uses Bioelectrical Impedence which in my experiance is pretty close to the body fat calipers. Atleast the person who did my testing both methods produced similar readings.

They really are great scales. I was torn between the one you got and the extra wide platform one. Either way they are both very nice.
