I drink a fair amount of water a day, but never really know how many "cups" I have - I drink around 6 pints of water a day, so how many cups would that be?

That's 12 cups. 8 ounces in a cup and 12 ounces in a pint.0

A "cup" is an 8 oz glass of water. A pint is 2 cups (16 oz), so 6 pints is 12 cups (96 oz) of water.0

That must be some other means of measuring. In the U.S. a pint is 16 ounces.
Now if you go into a bar and order a pint of draught beer, you get 12 ounces - but that's a marketing thing - and a pint glass actually isn't a pint.0 -
Thanks guys very helpful
