I should begin by saying I have the nicest most handsome husband ever! I have no complaints about life but I do have a question for everyone. Did your intimate life change with weightloss? Better? Worse? Less or more frequent? How does your significant other feel about your weightloss?

He encourages it. Even began the journey with me. He already quit though (couldn't give up his cheeseburgers and fries lol). But still encourages me.

My spouse is now trying to lose along with me, partly so we can enjoy a more active and satisfying intimate life (but then, we are middle-aged, so we have different issues than the younger set :blushing: )

No changes here! Intimated life still the same! He supports me but is not motivated to try to change, although he could lose few lbs... ; )

My husband actually started this whole weight loss kick before I did. I then started on a program at work and have continued on this site. My husband has encouraged me 100% as we both do this program together and have begun to get our children (who are college age) involved. I can't believe I actually enjoy exercising now because of the atmosphere that my husband has created. Overall I would have to say that there has been a definite improvement in our lives.

I started this journey in August last year. My hubby started in January this year. It took him awhile to warm up to it but he's always been supportive and very encouraging. He also thanks me on a regular basis for buying the Kinect because it makes him get off his butt. lol

my husband doesnt need to lose weight, but he is eating healthier. He VERY supportive of my lifestyle changes. And yes....sex life gets better and better :D
  • I have a young baby..I'll get back to you when he's two to tell you how it's going :)
  • It gets better. Exercise creates desire for me (increased frequency). I am chasing after my wife more, and have more energy & stamina to be with her. The loss of the spare tire certainly helps me to be closer (literally). The reward is I get to be with her more often (not tired) and I look & feel better, which is always a plus. I am not the young guy she married nearly 15 years ago, but I am closer to being as good as I can be for her, and she likes it (win-win for her, and me too).

Better, better, better. We are both losing weight together. Along with the physical difference, we are both more self confident and generally happier which makes for better sex. :smokin:
  • I have a three year old and 8 month old, desire wise it went up. But for me to act on that it has to be an act of god. :)

LOL..right there with you with a 10, 3, and 7 mo. *phew*...they really don't want any accidental siblings do they? I will say this though..I have a high libido..I've only lost a little bit of weight but basically if the kids are not in the vicinity I have zero issues making it happen.
