Put up a picture like that & you're sure to find at least 2 woman bashing on it "ew thats gross, she looks like a man" or "women arnt suppose to look like that" are just a few of the common responces you will find.

....and i'm just curious.... Why is she not suppose to look like that? Her muscles are natural & she isn't a lb over 120.

What & who determins what a female should look like?
Why is it more socially acceptable for a man to have a 6pak than a woman?
surely men don't get a 6pak do nothing just as a woman wouldn't either.

So again, i'm just curious........ WHY THE DISCRIMINATION? Everyone is entitled to look how he/she wants but why such the strong words?

Please tell me what a woman "should" look like?

I agree with you. Personally, I don't want to look that muscular, but that's ME. I'd rather look like that than my current shape though, that's for sure. She looks healthy and strong.

I think in our culture it's just not acceptable for a woman to be strong. That's the territory of men. Women are supposed to be slender and shapely, but not too muscular. I think it's ridiculous, but that's the way people think.

I think men have a more challenging time with a woman like that due to feeling intimidated! (?? - A question for the men out there - it's just my assumption.) But genetically, men like women with more curves because they are "child bearing." At least, that is what science/evolution has shown in the past.

It's not my preferred body type - I would like a few more curves! But, she definitely is healthy and that's what is most important.

One thing I see is yes she is fit and buff. She does not have the feminine features that tend to be attractive to men though. Some say it is an instinct thing, me I am just partial to breasts. ;-) The problem is breasts tend to shrink as muscle increases, this might be due to the fatty tissue nature of the breast tissue. The body is looking to burn fat wherever it can find it when you reach a certain point.

There are guys that will find the buff women attractive too though. From what I hear as a man though I think that is a smaller set of guys. Most that I hear like a woman with curves, so fit and healthy, just not ripped like a weight lifter.

If you ask a question of personal preference, I like a woman to look a little more feminine with a little body fat, but that's not to say that's what women should look like. This woman is very attractive looking, regardless of my personal preferences.

A woman should look and be healthy. That fits women of many different shapes and sizes.

Who is to say what anyone should look like is a better question.

A muscular look is not one I would go for but then I don't like the look of muscle bound blokes either. Each to their own I guess

    EDIT: Spelling error

Around a gym, you typically find women that are more muscular and toned, so I am used to it. I think it is great to see a woman taking pride in the way she looks, no matter how she looks, muscles or not.

I think she looks amazing. And the thing to remember is she's all pumped up and ready for a photo shoot. Take that same woman and put her in regular, going to the grocery store clothes and I bet she looks great that way, too.
