I'm going to Vegas next week! Last time I was there was 6 yrs ago, and I got food poisening the first night, and the other 2 days was sick in the hotel room.

So, have you been there? What do you reccomend I do and/or see/experience while I'm there?

Keep in mind we will not be going to shows because they are Uber $$$$$ and I am not a gambler!
Thanks for any feedback! I'm really looking forward to this trip and do NOT want to miss out on anything awesome!

Not going to any shows? Not going to gamble? That just leaves sex, alcohol, food and/or laying out by the pool.

Vegas is my favourite place! It's my home away from home!!

if you want to go to a show (WHICH YOU SHOULD) - head to one of the discount ticket places - you will see them all over, off the top of my head, I know there is one just inside Wild Bill's and I THINK one outside the Fashion Show mall.... Anyway, they will sell tickets for same day or next day shows for like 1/3 of the price - 30 bucks for a show? I think so!

Second, Premium Outlets for sure. Seriously amazing shopping - go on the website, signup to be a "VIP" member, and print off the extra coupons before you go.

Definitely walk though ALL of the hotels. That will take up your entire trip. If you want to go drinking, find a VIP host - usually young guys wandering through hotels in suits - and get them to put you on the guestlist - it's free, and then you won't have to wait in line or pay cover.

Lets see, the MGM has the lion exhibit that is free, Mandalay Bay has a cool aquarium that is reasonably priced, the Venitian has the shopping mall and the gondola rides, NY NY has the rollercoaster, the Stratosphere has the upper lookout with rides, and you can always spend some time at the carnival games and shows at Circus Circus. A little early in the season to be outside at the pool. You can always catch one of the tours of the Grand Canyon if you have a full day to spare. ALL of the hotel/casinos have some sort of tourist attraction, try visitlasvegas.com for some reasonably priced shows and goings on. There is ALWAYS something going on day or night! Enjoy your trip!
