    I too have experienced the lump in the throat, which came and went, then progressed to severe chest pain one day. After many tests, the swallow study revealed a hiatal hernia, so along with reflux I had gotten into bad shape. Hence me coming to MFP. Rx strength prilosec has worked wonders for me as well

    How was your swallow study experience? I do them!
    Prilosec usually is a good fix.
