I used the website a few years ago that lets you input your age, height, weight, etc then gives you a virtual picture of yourself, but I can't remember the website. Does anyone know what it is?

  • I've seen a couple different websites that have things like that, but maybe you mean My Virtual Model (www.mvm.com). I've tried that one. It's pretty fun. :)

I checked out this site. Great. fun. I started at my highest weight, however, and entered today's weight [54 lbs lighter] and could not see a change. I put my weight to 105 lbs [at 5-2, not an actual goal] and I could see the change. I also set it to 131 [close to my actual goal. .I will know for sure when I get there] and could see a vast difference.

I was hoping that seeing the 54 lbs I'd lost would be inspirational [especially since I can see small changes in my body, but suspect I don't have a realistic view, based on how people tell me I look and how I view myself, now] but it sort of backfired on me.

    Any thoughts?
  • Hi Lauriee, you may need to adjust the + and - signs. I had to do that for some of them to make them look more accurate. But I would think that 54 pounds should show a difference!

Thanks everyone who posted and responded so far! I made a blog with stages of the virtual models. Check it out if ya like! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/MemphisMarly/view/modeling-190-170-today-goal-73853

Thank you. I wasn't sure what those buttons were for. I definitely feel better and am motivated to keep forging ahead. :)
