Awesome recipe nutrition analyser!

I don't know if you guys ever go on the Calorie Count website, but there is a nifty little tool known as Recipe Analysis. Basically copy and paste your recipe in and it will give you a nutrition breakdown. So handy! It's not perfect, I know, but it's still great for baking.
This is the link:
http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/recipe_analysis.php
eg. I popped this recipe in : http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/yummy-veggie-omelet/Detail.aspx
On that page it says 386 cals.
In recipe analysis 376. Not bad for just copying and pasting the ingredients!
Anyway, if you love to bake out of old cook books like me, it is a godsend.
...You're welcome.

Thank you so much. I make a lot of homemade vegetable and past dishes etc. So now I can get my calories per serving. Melanie
p.s. Down 19.2lbs in seven weeks!0 -

You can also do this on here in the recipie section..enter your ingredients and how many servings it makes and it will tell you the break down of fat, carbs, calories0

thanks for sharing! cut and paste sounds like a good alternative to entering every ingredient!0

but can you copy and paste here? I don't think so, but would love to know if you can.0 -
I don't think you can. It's such an effort doing it for a cake that I'll probably never make again.0

I thought I'd add a little warning... It gets a little addictive when you're making your own recipes up!
Eg. "Hmmm if I add more of this and less of that, it's less cals and more fiber! Yeww!"0 -

I use that site, too. I love it. Very convenient for “testing” a recipe to see if it will work calorie and nutrient wise. Also makes it easy to add additional ingredients or take them out, which i often do when following a recipe.0
