Getting Started

I've been using this site as a great support tool for about 2 months but was on vacation part of the time. Now I'm back and in a regular routine so I think it's time to introduce myself and say hello.

My goal is to get my weight down just a bit more, increase my energy and activity level and to enter middle age with a positive attitude and self image.

My job is mentally demanding but not very physical so making myself write down what physical activity I did every day will motivate me to get up and move. My eating habits aren't bad but keeping track of my calorie intake is already forcing me to make better, healthier choices, especially when I have to eat out while on the job.
