I am still trying to figure out the website a bit. My name is Jacki, Im married to my high school sweetheart and very happy, except for the fact Im 5'6" and 170 lbs. I know Im not totally overweight but Im sick of not fitting into my size 10 jeans. Its not that I want to diet but make a lifestyle change. My goal is to completely change the way I eat and exercise. It isnt easy since Im totally addicted to soda! Trying to quit but its hard so a bit at a time. I was at 6-10 sodas a day now Im at 1 or 2. Some progress but its so much easier to put the weight on then to take it off, M i right? LOL

  • Hi and welcome to the site. Yes it is harder to put it on than to take it off. Its sounds like you have the right mindset and are headed in the right direction. You have already changed from 6-10 sodas to 2. That should help with your weight loss. Good luck and keep up with the great work!

Welcome Jacki, weight loss is difficult why many here call it a journey. I have been on site for few weeks now and the tools really help me to see how much i eat and all the calories that i used to sneak during the day. Good job on cutting back on sodas; 6-10 cans a day is an impressive number. One thing i have always remembered from my nutrition class is my instructor calling sodas "candy in a can" has always helped me to question if i really need to drink that or water. But again welcome and good luck in your weight loss goal.
