Spent $60 on a Polar HRM, opened it up, & apparently it's not one of the ones that tell you how many calories you burned. Ugh! That's the only reason I got it. Should've done more research I guess. Anyone know how to calculate accurate calories burned with one of these?

Why don't you exchange it for the one you want?0

I agree with cmriverside. Just explain it wasn't what you wanted and change it. I have a Polar HRM and I love it. Even shows me how much I burn when I am doing housework.0

I just went to Sports Authority tonight and bought the Polar FT4, which calculates calories burned. They had it on sale for $79 (normally $89). Lady told me that once opened, you have to return to Polar.
But I thought all showed calories burned0 -
I want one! I really wish they weren't so pricey! (sorry...this doesn't help...)0

Yeah I'm gonna try returning it to Target tomorrow...will definitely suck if they don't take it!0
