Question for people who already lost 100 or more pounds.

I see pictures people post when they lose 100 pounds and more. I see girls posing in bikins and people with FLAT tummies. Is it possible to have a flat(ish) tummy after losing 100 lbs?

I would also like to know the answer to this. Also after having kids0

you know, I worry about that too, but I've noticed over the past few weeks that my tummy is starting to flatten out. I'll never be a bikini model, but I don't have three spare tires anymore either.0

ok UH it really depends on your body and if you TONE up the whole time you are losing the 100 pounds.
I lost 140 pounds from Jan 08- Oct 08. I had gastric bypass ( had also had a 9 pound baby in 2000)
I workout out during that time but I did not tone. Once I lost the weight I did have some loose skin but my Dr told me that was not from the weight gain but from the baby stretching me 62 inches round.
I did have to have a tummy tuck to remove 15 pounds of skin from my stomach . even now at 220 pounds and need to lose 50 pounds I have gained some in the tummy but it for the most part is still flatter than the rest of me.
Toning those muscles back to org state is what gets that flat belly but if you have stretched the skin beyond the body being able to repair it then you will end up with loose skin. I have pics of me right before my tummy tuck and I weighed around 180 pounds when I had it done0 -
I've lost almost 100lbs. and my tummy is WAY smaller but not as 'flat' as it was before I gained the weight. I have a little lower abdominal 'pooch' that doesn't seem to want to go away, but I'll take it!

This time around, I haven't lost anywhere near that amount but I have in the past and yes, I would say it is possible to end up with a flat stomach. I think there are 2 key ingredients - exercise and slow weight loss. Exercise should help tone up the flabby parts from the inside out, you may not notice too much at first but once you've lost a bit it certainly makes a big difference to body shape. If you lose weight quite quickly, it is really unlikely that your skin will have any chance to naturally reduce at the same rate.0

I've currently lost 120 lbs, and my stomach is still far from flat. I also have 20 lbs to go (ish). I know that once I will get to my goal weight I will have to work on toning. Some people are blessed with more of thier "fat" coming off thier tummies!0

Well even those people who say they dont have a stomach that is flat it still looks that way in pictures. So that is awesome!0

I think it really just depends on how you are losing the weight and like the previous poster said, if you are toning the entire time you are losing, if you lose and tone at the same time, your chances are going to be better, but if you are just dieting and dropping weight and not toning the lose skin at the same time, you are going to have more flab than something who is toning at the same time... its different for every person losing weight, try and not compare yourself to others b/a pictures, work to write your own success story, and good luck0
