Hello I am new to this I really want to lose weight but have no idea how. I am 5' 8" and 150lbs I was thin all my life up til about the last year and a half. Now I feel fat when I sit down I have a stomach roll, I have love handles and a bit of a muffin top I am not happy with what I see. I saw a friend on the weekend she has always been bigger then me and now I am bigger then her. I feel good for her but it just makes me feel worse about myself. Any help would be great thanks so much.

I am new here too and have been both thin and fat..lol. I just lost 15 pounds since Jan 20 when I found this site. I am 4" shorter and 85 pounds heavier so to me, 5' 8" tall, 150 pounds sounds perfect. Maybe just some toning. Really, loosing weight is all about calories in.. calories out. If you fill out the begining of this where it asks you how much you want to loose and how fast, and how much exercise you are willing to do, it will tell you exactly how many calories in you can consume. Also how much protien, fiber, carbs, fat etc. The rest is just reading lables. Stay away from fast tood and plan your food for the day, then stick to it.0

You should try Zumba! You can just search on Youtube ____ Zumba. I did Lady Gaga last night....You can pretty much pick any song and its really fun!

I am new, too. I joined a while ago and just do not gt to the computer to track the food. I vow to do better! I need to lose a lot but I have to start don't I? LOL. Today is the day. I have enjoyed reading the success stories here. I hope to be one someday.

I started following this a week ago, after finding the application in iTunes, I saw the stories everyone posted, so I decided to give it a try. I have to say, I didn't think it was gonna be all that effective, but I've already lost two pounds (and I weigh myself at different times in the day and average the numbers, so I am sure that the measurement is correct). I plan to keep it up and see how it goes, but I feel good about it and it helps me feel more secure and conscientious about the food choices I make. Also, since I got a couple of my friends to join in, it feels good to give each other feedback and encouragement.0
