if you like wendy's apple pecan salad, you'll LOVE this!
hey guys! so last night I was really craving Wendy's apple pecan salad but i didnt feel like driving 15mins to get it, plus i dont even like the chicken they use. So I went to the store and bought the ingredients and made my own!

Tyson Grilled Chicken Breast Fillets Fully Cooked - Tyson Grilled Chicken Breast Fillets Fully Cooked, 1 piece 98g 110 1 2 24 0 0
Organic Creamery - Gorgonzola Cheese Crumbles, 1.5 oz (about 2 TBSP) 150 0 12 11 0 0
Hormel - Real Bacon Bits, 1.5 tbsp 38 0 2 5 0 0
Lettuce - Cos or romaine, raw, 2 cup shredded 16 3 0 1 1 2
Salad Pizazz - Gourmet Salad Topping - Cherry Cranberry Pecano, 2 TBS 60 8 3 0 6 0
Kraft - Caesar Vinaigrette With Parmesan Dressing & Marinade, 2 Tbsp (31g) 70 3 6 1 1 0
(i skipped the apples cuz I forgot haha)
its jumbled here but here are the totals:
calories 444
carbs 15g
fat 25g
PROTEIN 42g :bigsmile:
sugar 8g
fiber 2 g (need to figure out how to up this) :grumble:
sodium about 1400 :grumble: (this is also very bad but u can use low sodium dressing and skip the bacon bits)

Overall I was able to create a salad with LESS CARBS AND LESS SUGAR which is what has been a huge problem for me lately.

Ah, but some of the carbs/sugar would have been from the apple, and the apple adds some fiber I think! Adding spinach help with fiber.0
