The 17 day diet

Anyone else out there trying the 17 day diet (talked about on Dr. Phil)...we have about 12 teachers doing it and are looking for recipes that fit the food that is permitted.

    My aunt and cousin were talking about that...very high protein and pretty much zero carbs rite??

    I am trying it out now...and love it!! There are recipes on the The Doctors T.V web site.

  • this sounds remotely like what I'm doing: Mine is called the Maximized Living Makeover, and I'm doing what's called the Max Elite Diet. It's designed for us that are having a hard time losing weight and a lot of that is attributed to the toxins we put in our body. So, the basis of it is this: 1) No sugar..including fruits
    2) No grains
    3) Fats-only healthy ones like olive, avocado, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, etc
    4) No fruits
    5) Proteins such as organic free range chicken, eggs, grass fed beef, etc.

    What we're trying to do in this stage is to eliminate most sugars so that our bodies just burn the fat..
