So I know you are suppose to do this everyday but my body is telling me to cut it some slack. My arms feel like they want to fall off after doing 4 days in a row. Do you schedule yourself a rest day?

God yes!!! Listen to your body!! You will only wear yourself down instead of build yourself up if you feel awful all the time.
(I am assuming you're talking about Shred it with Weights and not 30 Day Shred)0 -
Listen to your body. I actually had to take 2 days off after the first 2 days when I started because I was in PAIN. Don't tear something. Give it a chance to heal.0

I just started yesterday, and promptly decided this would be an every other day workout. I am sooo sore, I can't imagine doing this daily unless you are in great shape, with pure muscle and hardly any body fat. I thought those jumping squat things would kill me!0

I was doing the Shred a few years ago everyday and got burnt out really quickly... FFWD 2 yrs, I now do it every other day and get some cardio in on the opposite days--this is working TREMENDOUSLY well for me! Still keeps my fitness level up, and my coffee cup don't shake when I lift it0

Can someone tell me what Shred is? I have seen it on here, but don't know what it is. We are doing Leslie Sansone's walk off the pounds, but I would like to try something on the side.0

Jillian Michaels, trainer from the television show The Biggest Loser, has a series of work out DVDs, one titled 30 Day Shred. There is also a DVD called Shred It with Weights and several others.0

I'm on day 4, and the first 3 were horrible but I woke up this morning with very little pain and a ton of energy. Unless I physically can't move I'm going to try every day. I was really surprised how good I felt today since I also went to the gym and biked for 30 minutes yesterday.
I'll let y'all know if I die after doing the same routine today!0 -

I have a lot of energy during the day but last night I went to go do the workout and my arms were screaming during the first strength section and not in that wow I haven't worked out in awhile stage but in the they are tired stage. I had to drop the hand weights midway through the workout.0 -
 I am on level two (day 14) I would say do it every day. This week something was going on with my left foot and ankle, I dont know what but it freakin hurt. But I still did it, but modified... ie. Only one set of the jumping jacks, or just walking in place. I don't want to get out of the habit of working out everyday. (I have worked very hard to develop this habit) The way I see it is something is always better than nothing. That is only my opinion however and you should always do what you feel is best. Take CAre:happy:0
