Trying to balance it all....

It's really a struggle trying to balance everything at once. I work different hours every week, 4 days a week for 9 hours a day. It's hard to do a schedule to get it all in. I'm also a full time student so trying to make time to do that is a challenge too. On top of all of that, I'm married and being a wife feels like a third job. All that plus exercising usually leaves me exhausted and cranky, and then I sleep for way too long. So how do you balance it all with time for yourself and the people you care about?

At the college I go to the have weight training, walking, jogging and yoga classes why dont you add a exercise class into your next semester. Try and get it your first class if you weather is hot or last just because Good Luck0 -
Oh honey you are not alone, I am right there with you, just remember "Sweat plus sacrifice equals success" that is painted on one of the walls at my gym....I work full time and go to law school part-time 3 evenings/wk and like you have a house to care for (which is currently under construction and always feels dirty) and in the beginning I thought it was to much!! But I think the key is remembering what is important to you and prioritizing....First make sure you talk with your partner and let him know you are getting fit and healthy, it's important he's on board with you b/c it's just as much a change for you as for him. For school I usually pick one weekend day to work on school stuff...my man works Saturdays so that helps to have him out of the way bc I can also catch up on house work on this day...in terms of working out well my gym is open M-W till midnight so I used to if I had the energy leave night school at 10pm and go do a quick run (must get back into this habit) this way if something came up later I wouldn't feel bad skipping the gym to deal or perhaps indulge...you can also incorporate some activity into things you do with your Hubby so as to spend time with him...I Didn't check to see where you are located but if or when the weather is nice instead of going to the gym alone you could ask him to come with you or you can go for a walk together or if he's the type a jog this way you're incorporating him into your new lifestyle...we live 3 hrs out of Gatlinburg, Tn so we last Sunday, he went skiing (so not my thing) with a friend and I went to walk around town, talk and have a change of scenery with his friend's wife, then we all met up and spent time in couples. It's just little things that count, and if you have to take a slight hiatus from they gym just keep calorie tracking in check and get back on it ASAP w/out stressing your self out to much...I'm a firm believer that it's not all about the weight loss although that is a big part but also about being healthy and you can't be healthy if you're stressing about it...Hope this helps!0
