Anyone take it? My blood work says mine is at 10 which is obviously low and wants me to take 10,000 iu for 2 weeks. Thoughts?

I was low last year and my doctor had me take 50,000 IU once a week for 6 weeks. I am now supposed to take 2,000 IU a day.0

I have to take it also. Blood work showed low, but mine is due to other medications. I take a pill daily, but can't remember the amount (don't have bottle in front of me). I've been on it for a couple months now & I can tell a difference in my energy level. It's supposed to aid in weight loss also (so they say).0

Yes, I take it. Take D3. You can buy it at Swanson Vitamins or Puritan Pride vtamins online or from any health food store, most grocery stores, Target, ....
You might also try getting out in the sun for at least 10 minutes a day.0 -
Doctors many times have different approaches, but let me tell you mine really scared me when it turned out my level was at 14 - healthy is 100! I am taking cod liver oil, calcium supplements, joints aid, and I was advised to not exercise as hard - if at all! He says the body will take 2 months to start recovering and at least a year to go back to normal levels.
I won't get into much details as you have better sources online, but be careful with that. Vitamin D is what helps Calcium sticking to your bones... you'll soon be in big trouble if you disregard this.
All the best x0
