OK I have become so in love with exercising that I hate when I have to take a rest day. I work out 6 days a week with 1 rest day and I can't stand it. I try to be active on that day but it just doesn't feel the same to me. LOL Am I weird?

I know rest days are needed to allow your body to recover but dang, I wish I didn't have to!

Maybe it's just me being overly excited about how good I feel after I am done, IDK!

One of my gym instructors used to be somewhere above the 20stone mark, she is now a size 8 (UK).

She even goes jogging on christmas day!

Haha, as long as you are doing it because you love it and want to, that's fine. If it's not obsessive, then i wouldn't worry. Maybe you could do something a little gentler like take the kids swimming? xx

Rest doesn't have to mean 'no exercise', just either using different muscles or going at far less intensity of a similar exercise.

For example if you're a runner, walking could be a rest day from running. So could Yoga.

I'm the same way! I was taking Saturdays off, but feel so good after each workout, plus adding in those exercise calories makes eating a whole lot easier! I do some serious cardio at the gym on Saturday, but it doesn't really feel like work. I say, work out if you feel like it!
